An annual celebration of the African-American culture, from 12/26 to 1/1. It is based on African harvest festival tradition.
Plan on marching with the Democratic Party of Wood County in the big parade in downtown Marshfield, celebrating the dairy industry surrounding us. The Mobile Office will be our featured float, and we will need volunteers handing out information and showing our presence in Wood County.
Be sure to stop by the Booth of the Democratic Party of Wood County, to show your support of Democratic ideals, sign Fair Maps petitions, and just talk with party members.
We will have a float in the Cranberry Blossom Festival Parade, and we are looking for volunteers to march in the parade, carry a banner, hand out candy, drive the Mobile Office.
We will have the Mobile Office entered in the Pittsville July 4 parade, and we would invite you to march with us, to hand out information and show our presence in Wood County, even in an off-year.
Join us at The Fair! As is our custom, the WCDP will have a booth at the Central Wisconsin State Fair, so stop by and sign a Fair Maps petition, tell us about your important issues, join the WCDP, or just chat about politics, as we get ready for the 2024 election year.
The WCDP Booth will be open at the Wisconsin Rapids Grand Affair, so stop by and visit.
Email our volunteer coordinator, Chris Stargardt, to help staff the booth or walk in the parade for the 4th annual Vesper Day event! [email protected]
